Hi I'm Ashleigh

Everyone deserves the opportunity to learn how to speak and present with confidence. Whether you are being interviewed, pitching an idea, addressing an audience or hosting an event; knowing you can speak and perform with conviction will support success. As a secondary school teacher, I have seen a decline in oral literacy skills, and thus, many students leave school lacking in this area (not to mention that presenting in front of an audience is, for many, their greatest fear). I founded With Confidence to respond to this need and to provide an opportunity to enhance these life skills for anyone in any front-facing situation. With Confidence provides workshops, seminars and coaching that focus on developing interviewing, presenting, public speaking and performance skills.

I am a New Zealand registered Secondary School Teacher with over 10 years of experience in the classroom. I hold a Bachelor of Arts double major in English and Drama, a Licentiate of Speech and Drama Teaching from Speech New Zealand, and for eight years I served as a Trustee on the Board for Speech New Zealand. I have many years of experience teaching English, drama, public speaking and debating to both students and professionals around New Zealand and abroad.
